WASTE part II
Related to country: United States

Translations available in: English (original) | French | Spanish | Italian | German | Portuguese | Swedish | Russian | Dutch | Arabic

This article is global in nature

Yesterday I talked about the potentials of wastes, both domestic and industrial. I have thought up more uses of waste.

Clothing wastes like the pieces of cloth generated by tailors could be used in making new and interesting designs.

Plastics could be recycled over and over again. They could be made into ornamental articles, such as flowers

Domestic wastes could be made into fertilizers.

Domestic wastes especially sewage could be harnessed to generate power, especially in these days of increase in oil prices.

Sometimes, these wastes could be used in sandfilling, buildings, and reclaiming of lands.

Industrial wastes could be used to manufacture electrical appliances such as electric fans, television sets, radio sets, electric iron.

In rare cases, with the principle of electrolysis, gold, silver and copper could be recovered.
